Seems silly to debut it on other forums and not here. Pretty pleased. If the "Diashock" on the dial and Jan 1967 caseback serial # are legitimate then it could be a score. Thanks for looking!

Forgive my ignorance, what model and age would that be John? It's certainly a handsome piece and another mystery for the Republic scholars. Regards, Ian G Confused

Here is a photo of the caseback. I think that if this is "legit," it just might be a "Year Zero" Bell-Matic...

Does anybody know, which Bell cases were fitted with a 'Diashock' Dial?

I have only seen it on the 4006-7000

I don't understand : it looks like a caseback for december 1966, not january 1967 ? Do you own two of these now ?

Oh, now I see : it is an old post 'revived' !

interesting 5to see this old post ... Probably the oldest Bellmatic in the galaxy Very Happy
